Builder / ContractorConsultantWymondham, Norfolk, United KingdomVerified partner

The UK's leading hempcrete spray specialist — contractor, consultant, and trainer.

About

Hemp-Lime Spray is a Norfolk-based hempcrete contracting and consultancy business run by Graham Durrant, one of the UK's most experienced hempcrete practitioners. With over a decade of hands-on experience installing hempcrete across new builds, heritage restorations, and retrofit projects, Graham brings a rare combination of practical expertise and academic rigour to every project he takes on.

Graham holds a BSc (Hons) in Conservation Management and an MSc in Architecture in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies — qualifications that inform his deep understanding of how buildings manage heat and moisture. His introduction to hempcrete came while living in France in 2006, and he went on to spend four years as Operations Manager for hempcrete projects at The Limecrete Company before founding Hemp-Lime Spray in 2015. Since then, he has installed hundreds of cubic metres of hempcrete across the UK and Europe, and has nothing but happy clients behind him.

Hemp-Lime Spray operates at the cutting edge of hempcrete installation, with Graham serving as the English-speaking agent for the French-built 3CM hempcrete spray machine — the industry's leading piece of dedicated hempcrete spray equipment. He collaborates closely with Will Stanwix of Hemp-Lime Construct to further research the material's boundaries and benefits, and has been invited to join the board of HempTank, the hemp policy think tank. Whether working on a large commercial build or advising a first-time self-builder, Graham's stated mission is simple: to make sure hempcrete projects go well.
